Michael Straham was on Good Morning America this week and welcomed the cast of a new movie hitting Amazon Prime Video this weekend. While Robin Roberts was on vacation, Strahan had a chance to interview three great actors throughout the week. However, one of these stars decided to run amok and sabotage Strahan’s segments on the show.

Here is who Strahan welcomed on the show and how the actor ensured everything went nuts during his GMA appearance.

Michael Strahan Welcomes GMA Guest Who The Runs Amok

Michael Straham was working on Good Morning America this week without co-host, Robin Roberts. He had a unique opportunity to welcome three former Balck-ish actors to the show. They included Tracee Ellis Ross, Marsai Martin, and Anthony Anderson. One of these actors began running amok in the episode.

As expected, Anthony Anderson was the man who went off the rails on GMA. Anderson was on the show promoting his new movie G20, which sees him play the husband of the President of the United States (Viola Davis). From the start, he showed that he would not play by the rules.

Michael Strahan tried to take control of the interview, but Anderson was having none of it. He quickly interrupted Michael, exclaiming, “Oh no, I’m gonna run amok! I’m on Good Morning America!”

Anderson also said he was at the studio a lot earlier than he expected. “I showed up when y’all showed up. I never been on this hour of Good Morning America!” he said. Anderson said the car picked him up at 6:45 a.m., and he had only arrived at the hotel at 6:30 a.m.

The interview discussed G20, which sees Viola Davis as the President of the United States at the G20 Summit with other world leaders. However, a terrorist attack puts the president’s family in danger. Since the president is a former war hero, she goes into action and fights to save her family.

Anderson also made jokes about a later segment. When he heard a baby crying, he asked who brought their kid to work. Strahan said it was for a later segment, and Anderson asked if this was “a Maury Povich segment.”

Anthony Anderson Sabotages Michael Strahan GMA Segment

Anthony Anderson wasn’t finished with the Good Morning America staff when he left the segment. He said he was running amok, and he wasn’t kidding. He made his way to the control booth.

While in the control room, he asked for access, and he began to talk to Michael Strahan through his earpiece. “Don’t mess up, Mike. Don’t mess up,” he said, “I’m in the control room, I know you hear me, I see you on camera. I’m [gonna] make you laugh the entire time.”

Strahan let the other co-hosts know that Anderson was calling him June-Bug, his character’s name when he appeared on Black-ish.
