‘SNL’ Morgan Wallen Shocks Fans, Walks Off Before Show’s End

Country music singer Morgan Wallen recently made an appearance on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest. However, he didn’t overstay his welcome on the sketch series, even walking off the stage before the show’s end. Notably, Wallen has already had an interesting history with Saturday Night Live.
Morgan Wallen & Mikey Madison Recently Appeared On Saturday Night Live
Wallen first came to fame competing on the sixth season of The Voice. During his time, he notably served as part of Usher and Adam Levine’s teams. Following his elimination from the series, he would sign with Panacea Records.
Wallen recently appeared as the musical guest on the recent March 29 episode of Saturday Night Live. Mikey Madison, known for roles in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Better Things, and Anora, was host for the night.
As noted by People, Wallen certainly didn’t overstay his welcome on the live show’s set. At the end of the episode, Madison appeared next to Wallen on the stage, where she thanked everyone who helped put the show together. She noted, “I had a wonderful time.”
Wallen Shared An Image Of A Jet On Social Media Following His Appearance
Wallen could be seen leaning in and whispering something into Madison’s ear. He then stepped off the stage, right past the camera.
On social media, Wallen hinted he was happy to be on his way. On his Instagram Stories, he included an image of a jet with the caption, “Get me to God’s country,” in white letters.
During his most recent appearance on the show, Wallen performed “I’m the Problem” from his upcoming album. Later in the show, he performed “Just in Case,” which is also from the upcoming LP.
Wallen has had an interesting history with Saturday Night Live over the years. The singer made his debut on the show back in 2020. He had been set to make an appearance in 2019.
Fans Also Weighed In On Wallen Walking Out Of The Show
At the time, Wallen had been disinvited from a guest appearance after photos surfaced of him kissing women and partying without a mask in Alabama. At the time, this was seen as going against COVID-19 protocols.
During his earlier appearance on the show, Wallen performed “7 Summers” and “Still Goin’ Down.” Poking fun at the controversy concerning him at the time, he also appeared in a sketch where he was haunted by future versions of himself.

A clip of Wallen’s performance of “I’m the Problem” had also notably been uploaded to Saturday Night Live‘s Instagram page. Taking to the comments, many fans were asking questions about Wallen’s abrupt exit from the sketch show:
