On the heels of the second Mystery Island: Winner Takes All, Hallmark has announced the third movie in the series, Play For Keeps. This stars Elizabeth Henstridge, Charlie Weber, and Kezia Burrows. The tagline of this one is, “A new game meets an old flame.”

What Is Hallmark’s Mystery Island: Play For Keeps About?
Hallmark Mystery is going to premiere the third Mystery Island movie in June. What is Play For Keeps about? According to the synopsis, “Mystery Island hosts a corporate retreat with a guest being Emilia’s ex-fiancé. Old feelings become complicated, tensions run high, and allegations arise when a guest is found dead.”
When Is The Premiere Third Hallmark Mystery In This Series?
The premiere of Mystery Island: Play For Keeps starring Elizabeth Henstridge and Charlie Weber is on Thursday, June 5, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on Hallmark Mystery. The Hallmark Channel has not added to its June schedule. Therefore, it is possible this new mystery will air simultaneously on the Mystery and the OG channels.

Also, Play For Keeps will be available to stream on Peacock. This will be up to 72 hours after the premiere. Lastly, this new mystery will be available to stream on Hallmark+ the next day, Friday, June 6. The first two movies in the series are there to stream now.

Mystery Island: Play For Keeps will be the third movie in the series. What are the first two movies?
Mystery Island is the first in the series. In this movie, viewers are introduced to this island. All the original investors have congregated for a special trip. However, when a member of staff is murdered, Detective Jason Trent has to solve this murder. One of the guests, criminal psychiatrist Dr. Emilia Priestly helps them try to solve the twists and turns of this complex mystery.
Mystery Island: Winner Takes All is the second movie in this series. In this movie, there is a contest for normal people. The first two to solve an online puzzle can come to the island, and bring a guest. Emilia, Jason, and Baroness Jane all worked hard to create an amazing mystery for this eclectic group. Unfortunately, a staff member is murdered and they need to figure out who is responsible.
A lot of secrets are uncovered as Jason and Emilia figure out who is guilty, despite evidence showing someone close to them could be the murderer.

Lastly, will there be more movies in this series? Hallmark has not made anything official. However, in our exclusive interview with Mystery Island screenwriter, John Christian Plummer shared, “I can’t give specifics, but I can say this won’t be our last visit to Mystery Island.”
