Swamp People: Troy Landry’s Life As A Grandfather
Troy has shown people his soft side when it comes to his grandkids. The Swamp People star likes to share adorable photos with them. Last month, Troy uploaded photos with his granddaughter, Riley Blake. He surprised her at her school, and she couldn’t hide her excitement at seeing her grandfather.

Troy captioned, “We surprised Riley Blake at school the other day for lunch! She was so excited! She’s getting so big!” Many fans also agreed on how big Riley has become. But despite all the happy moments, Troy recently shared that the family has been going through a painful stage amid Crue’s transplant.
Troy Gives Hearbreaking News Amid Grandson’s Disease
Troy Landry recently took to Facebook to share a clip of his grandson, Crue, trying his best to smile to the cameras. According to the Swamp People star, Crue has been on a transplant list for two months, waiting for a donor to save his life. Crue is battling end-stage liver disease. Troy has been trying his best to save his grandson and even spread awareness about organ donations earlier this year.
The Landry family also has a fundraiser for Crue’s transplant and life-long medical needs. Crue was born with biliary atresia, which is a rare condition affecting a child’s bile ducts. This prevents the baby boy’s liver from functioning normally, leading to multiple complications. Many fans also sympathize with baby Crue in the comments section.
- “Dear Heavenly Father, Please help baby Crue, in Jesus Name Amen.”
- “Prayers for little one so sweet.”
- “Praying!! Our boy will be getting labs tomorrow to see if we will be referred to transplant clinic. Idk if you actually read these comments, but the Biliary Atresia Network has been a Godsend to us. So much support.”
- “Continued love, prayers & thoughts for baby Crue & all the family.”
- “Prayers that a donor is found for this sweet baby.”
- “Prayers he will get his transplant soon and be healed.”
