The View Fans Tune In For Joy Behar And Her Antics
Veteran watchers of The View regularly tune in just for Joy Behar and her antics. She is a loose cannon that regularly flies off the handle, and watchers have come to love that about her. Joy is never afraid to say what is on her mind, even when that regularly comes with backlash.
The claws have come out when Joy is around. Sometimes, she goes after guests, and other times, she has even taken the gloves off with her fellow co-hosts. Because of this unpredictable nature, The View watchers never know what they are going to get with her, and this is a big reason why so many people continue to tune in.
Joy Gets A Little Too Personal In Recent Scenes
While The View fans love Joy Behar for her lack of a filter, sometimes, she runs her mouth faster than her brain can keep up, and, every once in a while, this gets her in trouble. This happened recently on the talk show when Governor JB Pritzker sat down as a guest. Pritzker is the governor of Illinois.
Right out of the gate, Joy Behar said: “I was trashing billionaires, but you’re one of them, and I like you. They’re not all the way that I presented them. You are a billionaire, are you not?”
It turns out, JB Pritzker has an astounding net worth of $3.7B in 2025. In addition to being the governor of Illinois, Pritzker is part of the family that owns the Hyatt hotel chain. So, Joy was not technically wrong in assuming that the governor is a billionaire.
The View: Co-Hosts Call Joy Out For Inappropriate Question
While Joy’s nosey line of questioning did garner some laughs, not everyone on the panel was amused. It turns out, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin did not find this line of questioning from Joy funny, with Griffin saying: “We don’t talk about money!”
Following that, Sara Haines added: “Should we all talk about what we make?” The governor chimed in as well, saying: “Yeah, you were just trashing the people talking about money on television.”
- In response to this recent segment on The View, one commenter said: “He’s one of the good billionaires” so hypocritical.”
- A second commenter chimed in, adding: “Alyssa has NOTHING relevant to say. What a waste of space she is.”
- On the other hand, many commenters praised JB Pritzker, with one person saying: “This man is SO smart. Straight talking, clear headed, compassionate and intelligent.”
