‘Jeopardy!’ Champion Takes Fans Inside Winning Streak & More
Jeopardy! champion Laura Faddah put together quite the impressive winning streak, and she recently opened up about her winning streak, as well as other aspects of the game. So, what did she have to say about everything that has gone down?
Jeopardy! Champion Laura Faddah Almost Did Not Show Up To The Show
Even though Laura Faddah is now a winner on Jeopardy!, the reality is that she almost did not show up to her taping despite getting an invite to the show. Laura previously opened up, saying: “I was probably mostly nervous… I had never done anything like that. But I was like, well, of course I can’t say no.”
Ultimately, that turned out to be a great decision for her, as her decision to overcome her nerves and show up to the Jeopardy! set ended up paying off big time for her. In addition to her status as a champion, she also has many fans who now appreciate her and follow her as well.
Faddah Opens Up About Her Strategy
When it comes to Jeopardy! champions, they achieve a certain status within the lore of the popular game show. Some even achieve reverence and God-like status among diehard fans. Recently, Laura Faddah opened up about some of her strategy and mindset when it came to playing the game.
She said: “I’m still kind of in shock because, you know, a lot of the other contestants did a lot of trivia work, like trivia teams… and I don’t really do any of that. I think I’ve always had a pretty good memory, and I like trivia.”
Jeopardy! Laura Faddah Has An Impressive Winning Total So Far
Even though Laura Faddah had initial reservations about showing up to the game show in the first place, it ended up paying off big time for her. So far, Faddah has the longest winning streak of the season, and her current money total sits comfortably at $87,400.
Speaking of her time filming on the set, Laura Faddah was surprised with how quickly the filming process for the episodes actually is. She said of her time: “There was some comfort that started to come in with just being on the stage. Never comfort with the questions because they changed so much. The game is going so fast and you have to concentrate on it so much when you’re actually doing it, some of that [nervousness] falls away.”
