Hallmark To Air Three Movies in Trope That May Polarize Viewers

Hallmark has quietly shared some future programming information that will definitely polarize some viewers. The network is going to premiere some Royal Movies soon. Although Royal Movies like The Royal Nanny, or Private Princess Christmas are smattered throughout the holiday season, this time it is different.
What is unusual about this crop is that the feel-good network appears to be airing a trio of movies with this trope. Usually one is sprinkled into a themed collection. But, these all have very different stories. Here is information on this trio of Royal Movies that star such fan favorites as the Golden Retriever of the network itself, Andrew Walker, Mallory Jansen, and Nichole Sakura.

What Are the Three Hallmark Royal Movies Premiering Sometime Soon?
Hallmark is going to premiere a trio of Royal Movies sometime between early March and before Christmas In July. As the network has already shared some information and posters, it seems more likely that they will premiere sometime in March or early April. As there is not a DaySpring-sounding movie in the trio, they likely will premiere before Palm Sunday, as the network usually premieres a faith-based Easter movie the Saturday before Easter. Therefore, there are currently no official premiere dates. Here are the three movies.
Andrew W. Walker and Once Upon A Time alum Emilie de Ravin star in A Reluctant Royal. According to the synopsis, “Philly mechanic Johnny is surprised to learn that his long-lost father is a duke. But the duke isn’t quite what he expected, nor are his growing feelings for the duke’s advisor Prudence.”
Next, Malloy Jansen and Reign alum Charlie Carrick star in The Royal We. The tagline is “Her royal highness is new in crown.” “When her older sister elopes with a non-royal, Princess Bea who has lived her life away from her royal duties must now step in and honor the arranged marriage to a small kingdom prince.”
Lastly, The Finnish Line star Nichole Sakura and Christmas In Notting Hill star William Moseley star in Royal-ish. The tagline is “Love is a walk in the theme park.” “Lacey is an amusement park princess who befriends 8-year-old Rose, a real-life princess and is recruited by her handsome father to travel to their kingdom and be the new governess.”

- They need a better graphic designer…but I am very excited for all of these movies. I eat up the royalty trope every time.
- Sorry. But these are laughable.
