Suri Cruise Gets Tom Cruise Trust Fund
Tom Cruise set up a trust fund for his daughter, Suri Cruise, after he divorced Katie Holmes. The actor wanted to ensure that his daughter was taken care of, and he also added some stipulations for how she would get the money.
Tom Cruise set up a trust fund for his daughter with a “substantial” amount of money in it. However, he doesn’t want her to become overwhelmed with all the money as a teenager, so she won’t get the second part of it until she is in her 30s.
“She was allowed to access it when she turned 18 in April. The rest of the money will become available to her once she enters her 30s,” a source said (via Daily Mail). The trust fund was carefully constructed so that she does not get all the money at once and becomes overwhelmed.”
Katie Holmes also has set up a second trust fund for her child. “Katie is fiscally minded and is looking out for her daughter, of course,” another source said. “She wants her to be well provided for and have a great quality of life.”
Tom Cruise Continues To Financially Support Suri Cruise
Suri Cruise is attending Carnegie Mellon University and studying dance and theater. Tom Cruise is paying her $65,000 annual college expenses. This is also not new for Tom, as he has paid for all her school expenses throughout her childhood.
Tom has paid for all Suri’s healthcare, dental, insurance, education, college, and extracurricular costs since the divorce. He also paid $33,000 a month in child support to Katie Holmes.
Cruise is still paying for Suri’s education, as he is paying $65,000 a year for her annual college expenses. He had also paid for all her schooling before, and he never stopped. Despite this, he remains estranged from his daughter, and they are not in each other’s lives.
