Assassination Attempt On Elton John, 77, Shocking Details
Famous music icon Elton John recently shared details of an alleged assassination attempt on his life. As the singer revealed, he appeared to have been attacked on stage during one of his shows. The singer then shared a detailed account of what had happened with fans.
The Singer Could Be Seen With Blood On His Face
Fans feared that John was assassinated on stage by a fan after he was seen with blood on his face during a performance. The incident took place in at a concert in Greensboro, North Carolina.
John was reportedly hauled away from his piano during the middle of the concert. At the time, his bandmates feared that he had been shot.
As noted by Radar Online, a drug user in the crowd had allegedly thrown a metal pipe at John. It hit him directly in the temple. This caused him to “lack out” as blood poured down his face.
John recounted the incident in Farewell Yellow Brick Road. As he noted, “Fans have often thrown things onstage when I’m playing, but usually it’s been something reasonably soft. Not in Greensboro.”
John Credited His Bodyguard Jim Morris For His Help
The singer highlighted what a surprise it was at the time. As he shared, “As we plowed through a rendition of Burn Down the Mission, someone hurled a metal hash pipe toward the stage from the crowd. I didn’t see it coming.”
“The silver pipe smashed against my temple, drawing blood, and I completely blacked out. The band kept playing because it took them a second to realize what had happened.

John noted that his bodyguard, former Mr. Universe Jim Morris, had to drag him to the side of the stage, all while the performer was in costume. As John noted, the feathers he was wearing caused issues.
The singer shared, “There were feathers everywhere. A paramedic was bandaging my head.” Despite all that had happened, John shared that the incident has since become one of his “favorite” memories during his time touring.
As previously reported, John also recently battled the loss of his sight over the past months. During a recent performance of the Broadway musical adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada, of which John wrote the music, he had to be escorted off stage by his husband David Furnish.
Farewell Yellow Brick Road is a retrospective looking back at John’s memories over his career. The book had been released this past September.

While I am not a fan of Elton John’s, it’s so sad and pathetic that things like this happen. CANT go to a concert without some Jackass ruining it! I hope the police caught the puke and he is locked up. If convicted, hope he spends many years in Prison!

I personally believe that Elton John being attacked was horrible and it has nothing to do with politics. Biblically the word speaks of the world becoming more evil as times goes on. No one rather they believe in a God or not can dispute the fact that horrible things are happening continuously. No one is exempt from anything heinous happening in this day and time. This is why it’s important to enjoy the good times when the opportunity presents itself.

I bet is was so long ago that no one took a video of it, or that it was a private show and cameras to film were not allowed, vhs taping was not allowed or it was not televised or there is only close friends as witnesses and the internet didn’t exist back then or it was some third world country and they didn’t put it in the news or tabloids.
