King Reveals Surprising Reason She Ditches Her Underwear
Recently, Gayle King offered up some information about herself that was of a particularly intimate nature. While this is nothing new for the 69-year-old anchor, some tidbits like these still catch people by surprise. This time, in particular, King opened up about when and why she ditches her underwear.
According to King, she said she goes “commando” when it’s time for her to hit the sack and go to sleep. She dished this personal detail while sitting on Drew Barrymore’s couch, as a guest on the talk show. Drew has a way of creating an intimate setting for her guests. So, it’s not entirely surprising that she got this personal detail out of Gayle.
King said: “I always sleep in a big old ratty T-shirt but I don’t like wearing underwear.” Gayle went on to add that she likes to “feel the breeze down there.”
With as busy as Gayle King is, she also previously revealed that she only gets a few hours of sleep each night. So, however unorthodox her bedroom habits may be, they seem to work for her.
Drew Barrymore Is All About Ditching Underwear Too
As outlandish as this personal detail from Gayle King may be, she found a like-minded person in Drew Barrymore. According to Drew, she also likes to ditch the underwear when she can, provided she does not have her kids with her.
Barrymore said: “Here’s how I roll. If no one’s in the house, including the kids — they go and stay at their dad’s for the night — I will sleep in the nude. I love it. I lock all the doors and I just parade around like a little jaybird.”
