‘CBS Mornings’ Fans Praise Gayle King For Taking On Terrifying Fear

CBS Mornings host Gayle King is in an era of trying new things. Recently she sat down with country artist Shaboozey and tried some Jack Daniels in their interview. Now she is taking on her fears in a recent outing in NYC. Fans praise Gayle for participating in the terrifying activity and facing one of her major fears.  So what did King do? Gayle King Fights Her Fears

Gayle King recently tried out a new NYC attraction. The attraction challenged Gayle to face one of her biggest fears. Fans praised her for doing so. King is known for trying new things and taking risks which has allowed her to become a successful journalist, host of CBS Mornings, and author. In a recent video, Gayle visited one of NYC’s hottest new attractions. However, it was a bit scary for her.gayle king

If you are afraid of heights you likely want to avoid the new tourist attraction on top of Rockefeller Center that opened in October. The SkyLift is a partially enclosed platform that rises and rotates three stories above the 70th-floor observation deck of Top of the Rock. The SkyLift ride lasts 3.5 minutes and the platform gives riders an open-air 360-degree view of New York City. Gayle King recently took a ride on the SkyLift during an Oprah Daily segment.

Fans Praise Gayle For Facing Her Fears

In the short video of Gayle King on the SkyLift Gayle says “So we’re at the SkyLift at Rockefeller Center. I’ve never been any higher than the Rainbow Room.” During her time on the ride, Gayle remained in the center of the platform firmly holding onto the support railing. She kept her back turned to the view of the city. Someone off camera told her “Gayle, look.” She replied “I do think it’s pretty. I do. Do I look like I’m having fun?” While she wouldn’t turn around she gave a big smile for the camera.

The Video of Gayle King shows the impressive views the SkyLift provides. It runs both day and night. Night riders can observe a “heart-pounding” light show. The official Rockefeller website has full details of the attraction including ticket pricing and hours.
