Does Beyoncé TikTok Trend Have To Do With Diddy Connection?

There is a new TikTok trend going around right now concerning Beyoncé. The trend has people making videos and thanking the pop star for everything from finishing homework to sneezing. It seems strange, and some fans wonder if it has to do with her relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
However, it has nothing to do with that and the origins of this TikTok trend are much more innocent than that.
Explaining The Beyoncé TikTok Trend
One of the first things that people unfamiliar with TikTok thought when the new Beyoncé TikTok trend started was that people were throwing shade on her relationship with Diddy. However, she has distanced herself from all the controversy, and this trend has nothing to do with that past relationship.

There is even a conspiracy rumor that Adele (in 2017) and Lizzo (in 2023) had to thank Beyoncé after winning their Grammys (via Daily Mail). Jay-Z thanked Beyoncé in 2024, but they are married, so it at least made sense. However, this hasn’t stopped people on TikTok from joining comedians as they thank her for everything, no matter how silly.
What Are Examples Of Beyoncé TikTok Trend
TikTokers started to make comedy video clips of them thanking Beyoncé after sneezing, before submitting a school assignment, and more. It is all an innocent joke at her expense, and has nothing to do with anything serious like DIddy.
There were also memes that made fun of skipping a Beyoncé song on Spotify, saying that would lead to bad luck.
However, while the trend has nothing to do with Diddy, the recent accusations about him has helped conspiracy theories about Beyoncé and Jay-Z to resurface. On top of the “Thank you” videos, there have also been some that touched on the conspiracy theories that the government and religious organizations have worked to keep her on top.
The TikTok trend became so famous that it has moved beyond that social networking engine. It has shown up on Instagram and X and even has some companies that have bought in on it.

While Beyoncé often shows up in her music videos as a divine figure, this is just taking it one step further.
