Wendy Williams Breaks Silence On Diddy’s ‘Horrific’ Actions
Even though Wendy Williams stepped down from handling business as the host of The Wendy Williams Show, she still has opinions about the current Diddy drama. Wendy made a name for herself in the entertainment industry as someone who was willing to dive into the nitty-gritty details of the wildest celebrity stories. As of now, she has a lot to say about Diddy based on the video that was leaked of him beating Cassie Ventura down. Here’s what Wendy publicly said about the scandal.
Wendy Williams Is Speaking Out Against Diddy
Currently, Diddy is locked up and awaiting his trial. He’s facing charges of racketeering, transportation to engage in prostitution, sex trafficking, and more. Things are getting worse and worse for the disgraced music mogul who now has 120 new sexual assault allegations against him. Victims who’ve gone through serious trauma because of Diddy are feeling more comfortable coming forward with their heart-wrenching stories.
Wendy spoke to Daily Mail to say, “What is really weird is that I have been told by so many people – ‘Wendy you called it’ – including some people from my family who have said the same.” She went on to describe the footage of Diddy beating Cassie as “horrific.” That leaked footage came from the dreadful day Cassie was trying to escape Diddy’s abuse. It was filmed in a Los Angeles hotel back in 2016.
Cassie tried to run away from Diddy, but she couldn’t get into the elevator fast enough. He started brutally attacking her in the middle of the hotel hallway! That footage is damning evidence against Diddy. It’s a major catalyst for why things are starting to fall apart for Diddy now. If that video never leaked, there’s a chance other victims wouldn’t have felt confident enough to come forward with their claims.
The Future Of The Wendy Williams Show
Will Wendy be back on The Wendy Williams Show anytime soon to discuss the Diddy case further? It doesn’t look like it. Doctors have diagnosed her with aphasia, and she is currently receiving treatment for it at a wellness center. The brain disorder decreases the understanding of language and expression. Suzanne Bass is one of the co-executive producers for The Wendy Williams Show. She spoke to People about the future of Wendy on the show saying:

”Since Wendy’s been off the air, there’s been a huge void in both daytime TV and pop culture. I think there’s always been a glimmer of hope for a comeback for her, but since this diagnosis, that seems impossible. It makes me very sad. I do know it takes time to diagnose conditions like this. I’m saddened by it all. Because people are constantly saying, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if Wendy makes a comeback?'”
A comeback for Wendy may not be in the cards. Still, pop culture fans are grateful to hear her thoughts on the Diddy situation. Leave your thoughts on all this in the comment section below.
