Gordon Ramsay’s Chef Dies After Vicious Attack At Carnival

Gordon Ramsay has gone through a lot of struggles over the last year. He had squatters invade one of his restaurants. Ramsay was involved in a bike accident that left serious injuries. However, that all pales in comparison to a recent incident where one of his chefs was beaten to death.

Here is a look at what happened to Mussie Imnetu at the Notting Hill Carnival.

Gordon Ramsay’s Chef Dies After A Beating At Carnival

Mussie Imnetu, 41, worked for Gordon Ramsay as a chef over his career in the kitchen. However, on August 26, he attended the Notting Hill Carnival and ended up dying after taking a severe beating.

According to Julian Winship, the official prosecuting the case, Mussie Imnetu was outside the Dr Power restaurant in Queensway on August 26. At this time, a man named Omar Wilson, 31, allegedly attacked Mussie and headbutted him before he reportedly “punched the deceased five times to his head.” He then kept “punching him to the head” as Mussie fell to the floor (via The Telegraph).

Mussie was found unconscious and received medical attention. He was then transported to a hospital, where he died on August 30.

Initially, police charged Omar Wilson with causing grievous bodily harm. The charges were changed to murder after Mussie died. Omar attended the initial hearing and only confirmed his name and date of birth. Trial preparations will start on November 25.

Mussi was visiting the UK from Dubai, where he lived and worked as a chef. He was attending the Notting Hill Carnival and was leaving The Arts Club, a private members-only club in Mayfair, at 1 p.m. He then went to the Dr Power restaurant at 10 p.m., which was full of carnival attendees. That is where the incident took place.

Mussi Imnetu worked for Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing as a chef, as well as Alian Ducasse.

Ramsay had squatters enter one of his UK restaurants and refuse to leave earlier in the year. This caused the celebrity chef to take extreme measures to get them out and reclaim his business. Gordon also had a home invasion recently, which caused him to hire a personal security team to protect his family.

He was then involved in a terrible bike accident that could have killed him if he was not wearing a helmet. Instead, he just had major bruising to his entire body, but his helmet protected his head.

    1. the emphasis is more on Gordon’s disappointment rather than the man’s death. if Gordon is disappointed, consider the man’s family.

  3. That animal should be beat to death slowly.
This kind of hate crimes should not be tolerated in this day and age. People need to be taught respect of others no matter what or where they came from!!!!

  4. Whenever I read about violence like this it breaks my heart! How can a person punch someone enough to cause death? What is running through his brain that could make him keep hitting even when the man has already checked out? What kind of evil is that????

  5. Violence has contaminated our culture (USA), and from this devastating result: Prayers out 🙏 for Gordon Ramsay, his family, loved ones, friends & did very much enjoy “Hell’s Kitchen”. Shame on those responsible for his death. Sounds like the motorcycle “Accident”; invasive squatters, the elusive break-in’s: these clues will (hopefully) add-up to quite a conundrum of a conspiracy to me…

  6. why was he beaten tho for what argument? did crazy guy know him ? or just random attack? so crazy u gotta carry mace w u everyday

      1. In today’s world you don’t know if you’re going get home alive anymore.
Carrying a gun is a responsibility in many ways and if used for defense– the prosecuting attorney will
try to get you especially– if the other guy is unarmed. No one ever talks about the costs of lawyers either.
I carry a small spray and hope I’m aiming it correctly when under duress.
        Sad times.

  7. “Do and say unto others as you would have them to do unto you. These words being scripturally based has power, therefore look for what you say to come on you 10 FOLD! Therefore,
“You shall have what you say”!
    Also scripture based!
I was that evil at one time but now I work on saying to people what I want to receive.

  8. I don’t know Chef Ramsay, just of his food, however, I can’t just the type person he was , but I know I will be judged on the type person I am by Jesus so I choose mercy so I can get mercy. Keep comments respectful.

  9. I too am horrified at what is seeming to be the norm, with all these senseless killings. I pray this young mans family and friends will heal over his murder. I think they need to get tougher on these animals who crave violence. Maybe we need to get back to our old teachings, An eye for an eye.

  10. I am so sorry for your loss no one should have had to go through that mu prayers are you and his family my the good Lord bless you and keep you always
