Fans struggled with the relationship between Ray Ford and Britney Reed on Love After Lockup. He had been locked up but she could not wait for him to be released. At the same time, she had a plethora of plans for their future. She wanted them to get married immediately and start having children. Yet, Ray wanted time to reacclimate to society, get a job, and start paying his $143,256.34 back. Britney did have one issue with Ray and his family as she assumed that he grew up in a down-in-the-dumps neighborhood. She was blown away to see how beautiful his home was.

The person he assaulted has not been revealed. More so, Ray Ford’s status was listed as unmarried so it does not seem he and Britney made it all of the way. So, when did the incident occur? It went down on Sunday, August 11th, 2024 in Texas. He is being charged with the misdemeanor of family violence. This charge means he caused bodily injury to someone in his family, or someone he dated, past or present, or someone he resides with. His bond was $1500 which he managed to make within 24 hours or less.
