Will Hallmark Mystery Make More ‘Aurora Teagarden Mysteries’ Reboot Starring Skyler Samuels?
When Candace Cameron Bure defected to Great American Family, it left Aurora Teagarden Mystery fans disappointed. The series was not coming back.
However, a year later, Hallmark Mystery rebooted the series with a prequel movie that starred Skyler Samuels, Marilu Henner, and Evan Roderick, as Arthur. This movie was called Something New.
However, that prequel reboot premiered in 2023. Will Hallmark make any more of these mysteries in this series?

Will Hallmark Mystery Make More Aurora Teagarden Mysteries?
Sleuthers were thrilled in 2023 when Hallmark Mystery premiered Aurora Teagarden: Something New. However, there have not been any more mysteries in this series since then. Will there be more?
Recently, Skyler Samuels spoke to US Magazine about her role in the new movie, My Dreams Of You. It seemed inevitable that the conversation went to the classic mystery series. Best of all, she had an update!
At the beginning of this year, we made movies two and three in the Aurora series and they’re so fun.
However, Hallmark Mystery has not shared a premiere date for these movies. As they just announced the final two mysteries of 2024, another Hannah Swensen, and the second Cases Of Mystery Lane, it seems likely that at least one of the two new ones will premiere in 2025.
New Movies Dig Into ‘Juicy’ Aurora And Arthur Backstory
In addition to sharing news that Hallmark Mystery has made two additional Aurora Teagarden prequel reboots, Skyler Samuels teased some possible romance. Did Aurora and Arthur date? Was there ever a romance?
They’re so fun and the more of these movies we make, like, the more into some of the juicy backstory we get to have with Arthur and Aurora and…[will they], won’t they stuff.”
The OG series with CCB hinted that there was something. But, was there? Fans will want to check out these new movies when they do premiere.
Aurora Teagarden Fanbase ‘Embraced’ Reboot
One important detail that Skyler Samuels stressed is that fans of the Hallmark Mystery reboot are the reason why the network made more movies. They “embraced” her portrayal of Aurora. Most of all, Skyler is “very grateful” for this.
Skyler wanted to know if fans liked her portrayal. What she found really made her happy.
“It actually meant the most seeing comments where people were like, ‘I wasn’t sure about Skyler when they cast her. I had skepticism. But I actually really love this and it’s super fun and I’m totally on board.'”
