‘American Idol’ Ryan Seacrest Shares Old Pic Of Carrie Underwood
Ryan Seacrest confirmed that Carrie Underwood will take over from Katy Perry on the judges’ panel of American Idol. Sweetly, he welcomed her with a post on social media, and he shared some throwback photos of them together.
Ryan Seacrest Had Ideas On Katy Perry’s Replacement
The old hand on the talent show talked about a replacement for Katy Perry a few months ago. At the time, he said that he hoped for someone similar to take over. He liked her impact and claimed that she “brought an amazing generosity and love and [a] big heart.” Possibly, he thinks that Carrie Underwood will fill those big boots.
Katy Perry might still return after she takes a hiatus to go touring and make music. But for now, Carrie Underwood takes over. Ryan Seacrest knows how hard it can be to take over from a beloved TV personality. After all, Wheel of Fortune fans already decided he’s not welcome as Pat Sajak’s replacement. So, he sounded welcoming and kind when he shared some photos.

Carrie Underwood Throwback Pics
Taking to his Instagram, the American Idol host posted two photos of himself with Carried Underwood. In the first one, she looked emotionally overwhelmed. She’d just won the 2005 season of the show. A Country Music singer, she made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Ryan Seacrest said in his caption:
