'Unexpected' Fans Slam Kayleigh For Disrespecting Mom

Unexpected Season 6 on TLC brought three newcomers, and one of them, Kayleigh, (15) is taking some heat for disrespecting her mom, Mandy, (40.) Her mom and dad purchased her a car so she could commute to see her baby daddy, Graham who lives a half-hour away. And, fans think she has been spoiled a lot.

Unexpected Arrived After Long Delays

TLC fans waited a long time for Season 6, and viewers wondered if it was because they waited for Jenna Ronan to welcome her second baby. Anyway, that didn’t prevent more delays, but eventually at the beginning of June, the show’s premiere arrived. Of course, viewers love meeting new cast members. But, it seems that Kayleigh disappoints many of them.

Unexpected star Graham also 15, seemed a bit shellshocked and not ready for responsibility. In fact, he hardly seemed to know his baby mama. So, TLC fans might wonder if they are still together. After they welcomed their son, Easton, fans assumed they might not still be together. Well, it seems that they are, and they might go the distance. But, fans are not happy with Kayleigh, so she might not be popular if they return for more seasons of Unexpected.

Kayleigh Gets Slammed For Disrespecting Mom

On Reddit, an OP expressed some anger and shock because of the way Mandy is talked to by her daughter. In their caption, the TLC viewer wrote:

Disrespectful Kayleigh…The way this child speaks to her mother is beyond disgusting and the mom literally go silent as if she is afraid of her. Telling your mom to “shut up.” what kid of respect is that and what parenting has this family done?!

In the comments, plenty of other Unexpected fans had their say, and most of them agreed that she was bad. Here are some of their thoughts:

My son has said Shut up to me <insert the joy of teenagers> BUT it is immediately followed by “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” That’s the difference…With chickadee on the show you can tell and have seen, she’s just disrespectful in general. I wouldn’t let any of that slide.
Like her telling her mom to clean the house after three, twelve hour shifts i[s] CRAZY! Like wtf! You need to help do something. Pregnancy is not a disability.
I know certain things suck when pregnant, so we would modify her chores. She still lives there, she is still responsible for the mess in the house. All it takes is a sit-down and open conversation to make a plan together.
If I told my mom to shut up the taste would of been slapped out of my mouth. They reward bad behavior. She gets pregnant they buy her -ss a car. Then she continues to be disrespectful and they reward her by doing nothing.
