Catelynn Lowell’s brother, Nick confirmed money problems for the couple. He alleged that they had a lot of tax money to pay. There was a lien, and allegedly they dipped into the bank accounts of the kids. While MTV fans were shocked that Nick leaked the news, it can’t be easy to juggle massive debt.

Tyler Baltierra And His Wife Face Foreclosure

According to The Sun, the couple do owe taxes and the historic house is in pre-foreclosure. Obtaining documents, the outlet was able to state the following:

a Certificate of Forfeiture of Real Property was filed in March 2024 by a Michigan Register of Deeds Office. On March 1, 2024, the following real property was forfeited to the Sanilac County Treasurer for non-payment of property taxes for the year 2022.

Catelynn Lowell and her husband only; have until “March 31” next year to pay the full taxes owing, or they lose the home. So far, their efforts to sell the place have not been successful. The property tax the Teen Mom stars owe is “$5,007.72.”

Unfortunately, Tyler’s efforts at being a rapper didn’t bring the MTV family fame or glory. And, it doesn’t seem as if their OnlyFans helped with covering the debt. The attractive old home cost them $200K in 2017. Actually, it seemed nice, and is a bit surprising they can’t get a buyer.

In the past the Teen Mom stars owed taxes and this isn’t the first time around the money block for them. In fact, they cleared two tax liens, one dating from 2019 and another from 2016. Perhaps Catelynn Lowell has made a plan to prevent them from losing their home. At the moment, “there is no judgment filed with the Register of Deeds Office, The outlet confirmed.
