‘Food Stars’ Winner Shouts Out Lisa Vanderpump

Lisa Vanderpump and Gordon Ramsay got together to mentor and judge Food Stars this year, and they made a good dynamic on reality TV. The famous chef and the Vanderpump Rules matriarch certainly impressed the winner, Jessica Druey who shouted them out.

Ahead of Food Stars, Andy Cohen hosted the two well-known restauranteurs, and their chemistry was obvious. Actually, Bravo host Andy joked that the Vanderpump Rules matriarch and Gordon seemed close enough to hook up. Lots of laughter came, and some of it was borderline below the belt. Well, Jessica Druey mentioned that after her win.

Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd, are well known in the food industry because of all their restaurants. Of course, their time on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills didn’t hurt. And, Vanderpump Rules is another show that people like to watch. So, she’s already got a good rep as a businesswoman.

Food Stars Winner Praises Gordon Ramsay & Lisa

Many people thought it was amusing that Lisa Vanderpump’s team failed in one challenge soon after Food Stars premiered on Hulu. However, she moved on. The banter between her and Gordon Ramsay also went on. Nonetheless, it wasn’t all about jokes and laughter. The competitors learned a lot from them.

Speaking with The Sun, Jessica Druey shouted out Lisa Vanderpump. The winner had started a wine business during lockdown, and her win meant that she got money to expand, and a lot of great tips. She told the outlet, “Working with Lisa was an “incredible experience.” 

Of course, Gordon Ramsay also got praised. Jessica said:

They asked me to let them into my personal life a bit more. That was one of the lessons I took away from the show – it doesn’t need to be all business all the time…They work hard, they play hard, and they’re not afraid to be themselves.

One thing that stuck with the winner of Food Stars was the way the two reality TV stars cussed a lot. Perhaps she won’t follow their lead on that one. She noted, “They’re cursing up a storm too. They’ve got quite crude humor.” Despite the cussing, the praises for the Vanderpump Rules star continued.

Jessica added, “She said to me a million times that she’s a maximalist and I think it was just that affirmation to stay true to yourself.”
