‘General Hospital’ Teases Lulu’s Return & Ava’s Downfall?
Did General Hospital just drop a huge hint that Lulu is about to wake up? The legacy character has been in a coma off screen since 2020. Keep reading for all the details and speculation about Ava’s downfall.
General Hospital Teases Lulu’s Return
Lulu Spencer is the daughter of iconic soap opera couple Luke & Laura, played to perfection by Tony Geary and Genie Francis. Jonathan Jackson is returning this summer as her older brother, Lucky. Many fans have been clamoring for Lulu to return to. The soap seemed to drop a huge hint in an episode earlier this week that fans could be getting their wish.
Lulu has been in a coma mostly off-screen for four years. The character suffered a brain injury after a car bomb explosion that took the life of her then-boyfriend, Dustin (Mark Lawson.) However, she was about to confess her feelings to ex Dante (Dominic Zamprogna.)
On the Friday episode, Dante and Laura visited Lulu’s hospital room and reminisced over their loved one. Given that Lulu hasn’t been seen much, if at all, in the last four years, soap fans suspect she’s about to wake up from her coma.
Emme Rylan played Lulu at the time she went into the coma. However, many fans want to see Julie Marie Berman, who played the role from 2005 until 2013. General Hospital teased Laura and Dante’s visit with Lulu on Twitter. Check out some of the comments:

Ava’s Downfall Coming Soon?
How is Ava connected to Lulu? The two are former sisters-in-law. According to The Sun, one fan of the ABC soap speculated that Ava’s downfall and Lulu waking up from her coma are two upcoming storylines on General Hospital.
“Sonny and Jason come together. A great bond between them! Lulu come back, Ava needs to go down.”
Fans have been speculating for months that Ava will be killed off after basically estranging herself from everyone in town.
