‘ABP’ Matt Brown Reveals How He Deals With New Problems
Former Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown has been struggling recently. He said in the last few weeks that he no longer has his job and is about to lose his home. Matt is heading up the mountain to live in the wilderness again. He also said that someone had hacked his phone and people were tormenting him online.
Now, Matt has revealed how he is dealing with these ongoing problems.
Matt Brown Discusses His Coping Mechanisms
Matt Brown worried his Alaskan Bush People fans with a recent post in which he shared a photo of himself looking up and wrote some reflective comments. He wrote, “It is as important to remember the people who help you in a time of need, who can’t get anything from you for it, as it is to remember the ones who don’t.”
This had some fans worried about the former reality TV star. Before he left Alaskan Bush People, he struggled with addiction issues, and many fans hoped his recent struggles wouldn’t cause a relapse.
The good news is that Matt followed up with a two-part video that shows how he deals with his struggles. As always, Matt is open and honest with his fans. He explained that he learned a lot from his rehab stints at Betty Ford and said that he had great counselors there who taught him a lot.
Matt hinted in the first video that he uses flash cards to aid him. He then had the second video, explaining that he sees things that bother him or realizes he is doing unproductive things. When this happens, he pulls out these cards. On one side, he writes down the people and events in his life that are either toxic or good. On the back of the cards, he will write a “realistic assessment” of the person or event on the other side of the card.
This allows him to remember why these things are toxic or good and helps him make better decisions at that time.
Alaskan Bush People Fans Respond To Matt Brown
While there are a lot of toxic people in the world who live to troll Matt Brown and his siblings from Alaskan Bush People, Matt actually has a lot of fans who support him. They showed up in the comments to let him know they were thinking of him.
