On Moriah Plath’s Instagram, she gets a tag by Matthew Craven with his new song, “Tonight.” Additionally, he promotes his new song, “The Beginning.” His European Indie Music Network profile describes him as, “Detroit sensation Matt Craven has made an explosive entrance into the music scene with his ground-breaking single The Beginning.” Furthermore, the song is painted as, “The Beginning blends rhythmic tones with an uplifting pop-rock vibe, seamlessly weaving together elements of pop and rock into an eclectic sound. The track is marked by its upbeat vocals, infectious energy, and invigorating pace.”
Similar to Moriah, he seems to be working for his big break in the music industry. Seemingly, he has released several songs and is gathering a following and shoutouts along the way. Likewise, they may be bonding over breakups. On his Instagram, he posted about a breakup song that was very personal to him.

Furthermore, on Reddit, Welcome To Plathview fans point out they think this is the guy Moriah Plath is into now. One person starts the conversation, “Moriah’s weird new love interest.” Then, they continue by saying, “I don’t know if anyone else has noticed Moriah follows one guy on Instagram and he’s also a wannabe singer and very weird lol. His name is Matthew Craven. Assuming this is her new love interest… seems like he might have written a song about her too recently if you look at his Instagram.” However, the Reddit thread didn’t appreciate his music. In like fashion to the criticism Moriah receives, viewers left comments:
