Dance Moms fans felt delighted when they learned a reboot was on the horizon. However, the new series will come with several changes. Abby Lee Miller was in charge during the original series’ nine-season run. But now, there’s a new face in the ballroom. And of course, the original dancers are now adults and have moved on with their lives.

As fans gear up to meet the new coach and dancers, Hulu released a new teaser to stoke anticipation. So what can diehard Dance Moms fans expect from the new series?

Dance Moms: A New Era Features Many Familiar Elements

As the infamous Abby Lee Miller used to say, “Everyone is replaceable.” Now, it seems that the new Dance Moms series has moved on without her as well.

Dance Moms: A New Era features a brand new cast of characters. Gloria “Glo” Hampton is the new dance coach in town and fans are ready to see what she brings to the rehearsal room.

As per PEOPLE, Glo Hampton “wants to take her students and prestigious dance school Studio Bleu to the next level – competing nationally every week.”

And of course, it wouldn’t be Dance Moms without a healthy dose of drama. There is a new group of mothers who want their own daughters to rise above the rest and be the coach’s favorite.

“Coach Glo must juggle her tiny but mighty dancers, their scheming moms, and ensuing meltdowns, all while ruling with a tender but tough iron fist,” the publication continues.

There’s still plenty of information that isn’t publicly available yet. But fans can’t wait to meet the new mothers and dancers. If it’s anything like the original series, there will be plenty of larger-than-life personalities.

The Old Cast Reunited To Discuss Their Time On The Show

Fans of the original series are particularly excited about news of the reboot, especially considering the reunion special just came out a few months ago.

Original dancer Nia Sioux didn’t appear and simply stated she wasn’t interested in the reunion. However, viewers were delighted to catch up with Chloe Lukasiak, JoJo Siwa, the Hyland sisters, and others.

While no cast could ever replace the original mothers and dancers of Dance Moms, fans are incredibly curious to see what the revival will bring. As the summer continues, viewers feel eager to get more sneak peeks.
