‘LPBW’ Zach & Tori Roloff Defend Dwarf Babies, Knew The Risks
Little People Big World celebs Zach Roloff and Tori Roloff recently got real about babies with dwarfism, as well as the way society views dwarfism as a whole. The husband and wife pair had plenty to say on the matter, and they didn’t hold back.
Little People Big World: All Of Zach Roloff And Tori Roloff’s Children Have Dwarfism
As longtime Little People Big World viewers know, all three of Zach Roloff and Tori Roloff’s children have dwarfism. TLC showed in Season 25 scenes that Jackson Roloff is getting to that age where he is starting to recognize the differences between himself and other children his age.
Zach Roloff even opened up recently about how filming Little People Big World scenes in public was always difficult. Being little people automatically gives people a reason to stare. However, with TLC cameras around filming everything on top of that, Zach added that it felt like being in a “fish bowl.”
TLC Couple Knew That Their Children Could Be Little People
Some Little People Big World fans have thrown Zach Roloff and Tori Roloff under the bus for continuing to have more children, especially because of the added risk of them having achondroplasia, and all of the trappings and complications that can come from that.
However, Zach Roloff and Tori Roloff didn’t mince words recently, as they really went in on the attitude society has toward little people, as well as their little people family. The way Zach Roloff and Tori Roloff see it, they knew going in that they could have little people babies. As Little People Big World fans have seen, that didn’t stop them from expanding their brood to a family of five.
Little People Big World: Zach And Tori Blast Society And Overall Attitude Toward Little People
Zach Roloff and Tori Roloff recently called out some of the negative ways that society as a whole views little people. The Little People Big World husband and wife didn’t hold back either when it came to this, as they had plenty to say on the matter.
Tori Roloff said: “We get a lot of feedback from people that just don’t deserve to have a voice, honestly, like in our lives. It is brought up occasionally, you know, questioning our decision to have children when we knew they could have dwarfism.”
Zach Roloff went on to add that there was a 50/50 chance that each of their three children could have been little or average size. It just so happens that all three of their children have dwarfism.
Adding to Tori’s initial sentiment, Zach Roloff went on to say: “You’re telling me I shouldn’t have brought kids in with dwarfism because of the ridicule they’re going to get from society? That’s a society issue… Society needs to change.”
Whether or not viewers like Zach and Tori for their positions on things, this is something that they are clearly not budging on, and many do applaud them for sticking to their guns in this case. Viewers love Jackson, Lilah, and Josiah, and, whatever happens as they grow older, their family has their backs.
