Susan Noles & Kathy Swarts Want Joan Vassos’ Sloppy Seconds
Golden Bachelor alums Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts are single and more than ready to mingle. And they’re not above dating sloppy seconds. They told Us Weekly in a new interview that they told Joan Vassos not to hog all the suitors on her upcoming season of The Golden Bachelorette.
Susan and Kathy had high praise for their former co-star. Kathy gushed, “Joan is, first of all, beautiful — tall, lovely, really smart. A dedicated mom who loves life. What guy wouldn’t want her?”
However, they also enlisted her help in finding men for themselves. Susan confessed that they told Joan to “keep an eye out” on potential matches for her and Kathy.
The ladies came up with an idea for the “leftovers” from Golden Bachelor and Golden Bachelorette to get a spinoff where they could find love. Kathy and Susan would be interested in a Golden Bachelor In Paradise if the network asks.
The podcast hosts have no doubt that Joan Vassos will find love on the Golden Bachelorette, but wants her to keep her friends in mind, too.
They Don’t Want ‘Used To Be’ Men
Susan Noles recently revealed her interest in Kelsey Anderson’s dad, Mark. However, it seems nothing came of it and she’s still on the market looking for love in her golden years. She told Us Weekly that she has an age restriction for anyone she dates.
“Probably not more than 10, 12 years younger because then you’re not even on the same page in life. We don’t want a friend with benefits at this stage of the game. I want a partner in crime!”
As for Kathy Swarts, she doesn’t want a “used to be” man. She wants someone who lives in the now.
“I don’t want a guy who used to play tennis, who used to ski, who used to boat and now he sits on the sofa. It’s hard to find those guys who don’t wanna date younger. That’s our culture. I’m trying to beat it back one man at a time!”
Where They Stand With April Kirkwood
Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts love to travel. They shared their plans for an upcoming trip back to St. Martin with their Golden Bachelor co-star, Nancy Hulkower. Us Weekly asked if April Kirkwood would be joining them.
The four ladies quickly became friends while filming the ABC show and even dubbed themselves ASKN. But Kathy and Susan allegedly had a falling out with April over a canceled vacation to St. Martin earlier this year.
It doesn’t sound like the friendship ever recovered. Susan Noles simply said their “lives are different” when asked about April.
