Karen & Deon Derrico Move Into New Dream Home Before Divorce
Doubling Down With the Derricos fans saw that Deon Derrico and his wife, Karen Derrico finally moved out of the old home and into the nice new one that he renovated. At the end of the TLC show, a card explained that they got a divorce, which fans already knew about.
Deon Derrico & Karen Clashed Over The Home
From the trailer through the teasers, and the whole season, Karen Derrico looked unhappy, sighed loudly, and complained a lot. It didn’t take a degree in psychology to figure out that there were problems on the domestic front. Naturally, Deon snapped back and one scene that TLC fans found extremely triggering came when he lambasted Karen about Darian’s college studies.
Deon Derrico tried to give Karen some nice flowers on Valentine’s Day. However, she turned it into a fight about the home that he renovated. In the finale episode, she said in her confessional that things got tense between them but finally, they started communicating. Admitting they had problems, she felt that they were moving toward better days. But instead, they got that divorce that surprised and then disappointed TLC fans.

TLC Fans Are Confused & Disappointed
When TMZ shared a story about the move into the new “dream home,” Doubling Down with the Derricos fans on Instagram expressed a range of feelings. One of them was disappointment. Others talked about how wrong it was for the parents of 14 kids to divorce. Others wondered what happened to their old `home. Well, if you don’t know, they sold it.
