Despite being separated from Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright is not letting any grass grow under her feet. The mother of Cruz announced that she and Jax were taking time apart back in February 2024. Rumors had been flying that the two were no longer living together. Yet, they disputed them and claimed everything was fine. Ultimately, the truth came out but both Jax and Brittany denied any infidelity in their marriage. However, she maintained that he needed to do a lot of things to change and had not been doing his part.
For her mental health and to be the best mother to Cruz that she could be, she had to get her own Airbnb. She took their son in January 2024 and headed out. Some fans believed that their split was a publicity stunt but it played out on the show with cameras picking back up to capture the final conversation. The couple’s five-year wedding anniversary just passed on June 29th, 2024, and Jax appeared to have a midlife crisis. As for Brittany Cartwright, she went to Las Vegas, according to The Sun.

She enjoyed herself alongside The Valley co-star, Kristen Doute. Brittany wore micro denim shorts and a sheer low-cut one-piece black bathing suit. Her long hair was back in a ponytail and she had a huge grin on her face. As she danced, she took photos with her phone and was in her element, not a care in the world. Both ladies took to their Instagram stories to share the fun they were having away from California.
Vegas Is The Perfect Escape
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright met in Las Vegas and that is where they first connected. However, when he cheated on her in Season 6 of Vanderpump Rules, that is where she went to escape. Vegas seems to be where she comes alive and restores her soul. It was the perfect place for her to celebrate her wedding anniversary that should have been. Jax is already admittedly going through a midlife crisis as he posted photos of himself looking very off. Seems they handle their split very differently.
