‘Bold & Beautiful’ Ted King Returns For New Finn Storyline
The soaps are seeing a lot of shakeups in casting this summer. Bold & Beautiful fans will be excited to know that Ted King, who plays Jack Finnegan, will be returning to the soap opera world. Keep reading for the details about his return.
Ted King Shares News Of His Return To B&B
Ted King will reprise his role as Jack Finnegan on Bold & Beautiful on Monday, July 1. The criminal defense attorney will have an unexpected run-in with his ex-wife Dr. Li Finnegan (portrayed by Naomi Matsuda).
The first time Ted appeared on the daytime soap opera was in 2021. Since then, he has starred in 37 episodes, but Jack Finnegan was last seen on June 24, 2023.
He snapped a selfie of himself in front of the sign for The Carol Burnett Show. Both Carol Burnett and Bold & Beautiful are filmed at CBS Television City in Los Angeles. Ted King shared the selfie on Instagram, teasing fans with his return to the soap.
“Love being back in this building where icons have roamed the hallways for years,” he wrote in the caption, tagging the studio.

Although Ted has taken a break from appearing on daytime television, he hasn’t stepped away from acting in the last year. He starred in the Oscar-award-winning film Oppenheimer in 2023.
Ted’s return to Bold & Beautiful isn’t the only casting shake-up viewers are seeing in the soap world right now either.
Other Casting Changes On Bold & Beautiful
Clint Howard recently made his return to daytime TV. The soap opera veteran returned to B&B as a homeless man named Tom. His character recently had a run-in with the enraged Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Clint has said that his experience on the set of the soap opera has been “exhilarating.”
“You’re handed a lot of scenes to do and you’d better be prepared,” Clint Howard said. “I was taught by both my mom and dad, Rance and Jean Howard, since I was a little kid that my primary responsibility is to be prepared to show up to work, even as a very young child. And then knowing that soap operas, it’s possible to get handed boatloads of dialogue, and you’ve got to learn it.”
He’s not the only person being added to the Bold & Beautiful cast this summer either. Crew Morrow will be making his acting debut on B&B on August 1. He is the son of Joshua Morrow, who is on the cast of Young & The Restless. Crew is taking over the role of Will Spencer.
Jim Belushi’s daughter will also be joining the Bold & Beautiful cast. Jamison Belushi will appear in the July 17 episode as a lab technician. It’s unclear if she will have a recurring role in the series or not.
