Aaron Carter’s Twin Sister Says She Was Preparing For His Death
Angel Carter Conrad, the sister of Aaron Carter, just did an interview and said that she had been preparing for her twin brother’s death before he finally died. The interview was on The Squeeze, a podcast by Taylor Lautner and his wife, Taylor Dome, to discuss Aaron’s death.
When asked about the death, here is what Angel said about her twin brother’s death.
Aaron Carter’s Twin Sister Talks Being Prepared For His Death
Angel Carter Conrad, Aaron Carter’s twin sister, appeared on The Squeeze with Taylor Lautner and Taylor Dome. They were talking about what Angel has been doing since the death of three of her siblings over the last 12 years. Nick Carter and Angel are the only surviving siblings from the reality TV show, House of Carters.
Aaron Carter died in 2022 when he drowned in the bathtub with various drugs in his system. Angel said that when Leslie died, she was “blindsided” by it. Leslie fell in the shower, went to bed, and never woke up. She also had various drugs in her system at the time.
“I didn’t see that one coming. When she died, I was already in therapy preparing for Aaron’s death. I thought he was going to die,” Angel said. This was a decade before Aaron finally died. Angel and Aaron were twins, and she said she had always feared her brother was going to die young.
“I feared it my entire 20s. I knew this day was going to come, and I think he knew it too ’cause he could not get out of it,” Angel said. She also said she showed her brother “tough love,” but he wouldn’t listen. She also said their parents needed “to step up” and never did.
Angel Carter Conrad Promoting Mental Health Awareness
Angel Carter Conrad has been working hard on promoting mental health awareness since Aaron Carter’s death. She said that she wants people to understand help is available, but they need to be willing to accept it.

Angel said that Aaron needed to get help and things got worse after their parent divorced. “As a kid, he thought it was his fault, and he carried that with him throughout his entire life,” Angel said. She said that Aaron Carter thought he destroyed the family.
Angel also said that her parents stripped away his innocence by sending him out to our year-round. “He just wanted to be a kid. He wanted to make friends and go play outside. His innocence was not protected,” she said.
Aaron Carter died in 2022 after years of mental health struggles.
