Aaron Carter Will Drama Continues, Who Gets His Estate?
Fans were shocked last weekend to find out that iconic pop star, Aaron Carter had passed away. While fans are still wondering what exactly happened to cause this, his family is working on where his assets will go. Unfortunately, Aaron didn’t leave a will.

As previously reported, Aaron Carter didn’t create a will before the time of his death. At the time, it was assumed that the state would give his estate to his 11-month-old son that he left behind.
However, that may not be the case after all. According to The Sun, there’s a bit of a war going on. Between who? None other than Aaron’s family and his baby’s mom, Melanie.
Apparently, Melanie has been speaking with lawyers about where his estate will go now that he is gone. Of course, Aaron’s family is shocked by this and things aren’t going well right now.
“The family is fighting her, it’s a mess,” the source says it’s very “real drama”. At this time, neither party has said anything else about the issue.
It seems that normally the state would side with giving the estate to Aaron’s son, however, he is only 11 months so then, it would probably end up with Melanie until he is of age. It’s also important to note that reports actually say that Aaron didn’t have a lot of money before he passed. Sources say that Aaron would often spend any money he had and wasn’t actually living that comfortably. So, it seems Aaron’s son might not get much else from his late father.
What exactly happened?
Of course, with a death so sudden, many fans are hoping for answers on what exactly happened to Aaron Carter. The star was only 34 at the time of his passing.
However, unfortunately, there are still not many updates on what happened. He was found in his bathtub in Lancaster, California. Police got reports of a man drowning in his bathtub, who was, of course, Aaron Carter. After arriving at the scene, they found him unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead.
“The family has been notified and will be flying out to Los Angeles. Aaron worked very hard towards the end of his life in recovery, to be a good father and to make amends with his family,” a statement reads. “Unfortunately without proper recovery facilities available in our country and open borders, this is why we have an epidemic.”
