‘Bold & Beautiful’ Annika Noelle Dishes On Hope Logan’s New Storyline

Annika Noelle Talks About Hope Logan’s Evolution
Right now, on The Bold & The Beautiful Hope Logan has a lot going on. Last year, she left her husband Liam (portrayed by Scott Clifton) for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Ultimately, she turned down Thomas’ marriage proposal and he left town, but now she’s got her eyes set on a new beau, Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) husband Finn (Tanner Novlan).
This week, Thomas returned to Los Angeles with Paris (Diamond White), his new fiance. This sent Hope Logan reeling.
At the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, Annika Noelle spoke with Daytime Confidential about what’s next for Hope’s character on Bold & Beautiful. First, she talked about what a big year it has been for the character. She initially spoke about how she chose her reel.
“Hope had a really big year! I was very grateful to have that material. It really was the evolution of her and her kind of breaking bad. She’s always been very swayed by other people’s opinions and other people’s voices. It finally was her kind of coming into her own and saying, well, right or wrong at least it’s my decision to make! I just wanted to show the arc of that story,” Annika shared.
What’s Next For Hope On Bold & Beautiful?
She also spoke about what might happen between Hope and Thomas now that he’s back in town. “Initially, I was like, how on earth are we going to make this leap from everything that he put Hope through to this! Because, for once, you know, it wasn’t rushed. I feel like they took more time. It did wind up working,” she said. “So, I know. I know. I see a lot of opinions on social media. Either way, I’m just grateful I’m a part of it all.”
Right now, it’s pretty clear that Hope Logan has no idea what she’s doing. “She’s all over the place,” Annika admitted. However, the Bold & Beautiful actress said that she has enjoyed the challenge and opportunity of portraying the deep emotions Hope is going through.
When it comes to what’s next for Hope on the soap opera, Annika Noelle said that the loss of Thomas and Liam has Hope eager to find solid ground for herself. “Now what that looks like is, well…” she concluded.
