‘Teen Mom’ Maci Bookout Hit With Tax Lien, What Does She Owe?
Teen Mom star Maci Bookout McKinney is having some trouble concerning back taxes. According to reports, she was just hit with a federal tax lien and also owes more for back taxes. It appears her husband, Taylor McKinney also owes the IRS as well.
Here is a look at what Maci owes the IRS and what this could mean for her.
Maci Bookout McKinney Hit With Federal Tax Lien
Maci Bookout McKinney owes the federal government a lot of money in back taxes. This news comes after reports of a new federal tax lien was filed against her for $351,699. That, however, isn’t all she owes. She owes a total of $736,000 in back taxes, and her husband also owes money.
This was the fourth tax lien served to Maci this year alone. “There are five unreleased liens on Maci and three of those are with Taylor named as well,” a clerk confirmed (via The U.S. Sun). The last lien arrived on June 6. On May 10, the couple received one costing $86,620; in February, there were two more liens just for Maci alone without her husband included ($105,346 and $49,383).
In 2023, a lien for $143,413 was served, and it remains still open and unpaid.
When the federal government places a lien on someone, they can come after the person’s property. Maci owns two separate large properties in Tennessee and has several high-end Jeeps to her name as well. She and Taylor live with their three kids in a 3,558 sqft home in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Maci Bookout McKinney Has Always Struggled With Paying Taxes
These tax problems are not new for Maci Bookout McKinney. In 2014, fans learned that Maci owed over $78,000 in back taxes, stretching back to 2011. In 2017, she fell behind again when she owed $12,569 to California. Now, she has her biggest debt yet.

Maci has been promoting her Camoes more lately, for which she charges $100 each for. She has been sending out lots of messages on her Insatgram account, trying to drum up interest. This might be one of the reasons for that new push.
This news comes after it seems Maci’s personal life is improving. She is back on good terms with her ex, Ryan Edwards, and is even now friends with his new girlfriend, Amanda Conner. This helps out when it comes to their shared child, Bentley. Maci is also promoting Teen Mom: The Next Chapter and one hopes she will use her income from that show to get out of this tax debt.

I would like to know how they get away with not paying their taxes. The teenmom cast always have money for fancy houses, cars vacations and alcohol. Must of us live week to week on a small pay check and if we don’t pay our taxes the IRS would be taking the little we own. Hope all the teenmom cast lose everything if they don’t pay up. It’s ridiculous I’d have no sympathy for any of them. Once again the rich get away with everything.
