Mama June Shannon Confuses Kaitlyn With Anna Cardwell?
When Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell passed away, Mama June: Family Crisis fans were shocked because June Shannon took over custody of Kaitlyn. But is she doing that just because the middle school teen is her mom’s twin in likeness? WeTV fans might think, after a recent interview, that she confuses her grandchild with her daughter.
Mama June Won Temporary Custody Of Kaitlyn
Anna Cardwell didn’t seem to think about how her death would affect her two children, apart from wanting them to be reminded that she loved them. So, fans felt sad when Kylee,7, and Kaitlyn, 11, were separated. Although they had different dads, they grew up together. So, Kylee’s dad, Michael fights for custody. Kylee and Kaitlyn seemed to spend more time with him than with Justin’s wife.
Many Mama June: Family Crisis fans wonder what motivated June Shannon to take over custody of Anna’s oldest child. After all, she did not seem all that worried about Anna Cardwell until she developed terminal cancer. Some WeTV fans accuse her of wanting to profit off her grandchild. But, could she just see the likeness and confuse her with her deceased mama?

June Shannon Wants Kaitlyn To Be Anna Cardwell?
Grandchildren, according to many grandparents, are the best kids ever. And, WeTV fans can probably understand that Kaitlyn is a reminder to her grandmother of Anna. But is June Shannon taking it too far? Is she confusing Kaitlyn with Anna to the point where she wants Kaitlyn to be her own mother? Will that affect the way that her grandchild develops into an adult?
Ahead of the premiere of the WeTV show, the Mama June: Family Crisis matriarch spoke with People. She said:
Kaitlyn is Anna’s twin through and through. Caring for Kaitlyn, she reminds me constantly of Anna. The way Anna was at 11, Kaitlyn is. The way that Anna was growing up. I mean, again, looking at Kaitlyn sometimes, it’s not difficult. I wouldn’t say it was difficult, but it is kind of like, ‘You look like your mama.” It’s just things like that. I’ll catch myself or she’ll do something like Anna would’ve…done. I’ll be like, ‘You act just like your mama.’ She’s like, ‘No I don’t. I act like Kaitlyn.’ And I was like, ‘No, you are still.”
