Moriah Plath recently showed off her new, dark hair to all of her Welcome To Plathville followers. According to her, she wants to keep it dark like this “for years and years.” She then talked about having alopecia, calling the condition a “big insecurity” for her.
Alopecia is immune system-related. The most obvious feature is hair loss, most noticeably on the scalp, but also on other parts of the body as well. Since Moriah struggles with this, it makes a lot of sense why she is eager to show off her hair today.

Understandably, it was a source of shame for her until she made the intentional effort to flip the script. Moriah Plath told her Welcome To Plathville followers that hiding that part of her was “rejecting” who she is today. She seems to be at peace with embracing who she is, and she certainly has a new look and a new aesthetic to match.
While there will always be naysayers, many Welcome To Plathville followers are eager to see what this next chapter has in store for Moriah Plath. She has an upcoming concert on May 22 at a rooftop bar in Florida, so, she certainly seems to be going full speed ahead with her music career, along with her new, budding pop star look.
