He played a Scandinavian royal, and she played an architect who fell in love at an amazing ice hotel. Real-life imitated art. Now, the couple is interested in taking their relationship to the next level.

Hallmark Couple Fell In Love On Set Of Christmas Movie
Although Katie Cassidy and Stephen Huszar had never worked together, they fell in love on the set of the 2024 Hallmark holiday movie A Royal Christmas Crush. Most of all, this couple is still going strong. Katie recently spoke to US Magazine about this unexpected romance. At the time of filming the movie, the couple decided to keep their relationship a secret. This was to keep things professional on set. But, once it was time for the movie to premiere, they happily shared their love to the world.
Katie was clearly smitten and their chemistry “definitely caught” the actress “by surprise.” That is because she didn’t expect to find love again after her divorce from Matthew Rogers. That marriage lasted just under three years, and she never imagined that she would find love with actor again. However, she found it with Stephen Huszar.
He’s amazing. I’ve never really thought I would date another actor. He’s incredible. We’re very happy. It’s been amazing when you meet somebody and it just sort of makes sense. You didn’t even think it would or weren’t necessarily looking for it and then it sort of happened.
Now, she is thinking about marriage. She admits this is a “conversation I’ve had with myself.” Most of all, it is a conversation she never thought she would have again.
As for Huszar, he recently told Heavy that he is open to marriage. “Yea, absolutely. So, yea. certainly, certainly that’s in the cards. Absolutely.”
