‘RHONJ’ Luis Ruelas Takes Out Massive Loan, Severe Money Issues?

RHONJ star Luis Ruelas has taken out a massive loan which has led some to believe he has severe money issues. Teresa Giudice has been fiercely defending her second husband against any naysayers. Yet, there is no doubt that he has had struggles in business. Keep reading to see how much he took out and why.

It has been a big issue that Luis Ruelas has been using RHONJ star Teresa Giudice since he met her. He has been deemed a master manipulator and has drained her dry financially. In the Season 14 trailer, a rumor is circulating that Luis blew all of his wife’s money. Of course, she vehemently denies this at all costs and her daughters have said what an amazing stepfather he is. Recently, Digital Media Solutions, Inc. removed Luis from its website. It looks like he is no longer the VP despite being a co-founder.

At the same time, Luis is still promoting the company and has it on his socials as if there is nothing wrong. Now, amid their denial over money struggles, Luis has taken out a one million dollar loan, according to The Sun. He did so in order to assist with paying off the loan on the $3.4 million home he shares with Teresa. Said home was purchased in 2021. It was not until March 25th that a loan was taken out on the lavish Montville home which boasts 7 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

It is a Florida liability company that is listed as the “mortgagee” but there are no further details on the loan. For example, it does not say how long Luis Ruelas has to pay off this very large loan. However, Teresa Giudice recently popped up on Tori Spelling’s new podcast, misSPELLING. While on there, she continued to debunk any money rumors:

“Margaret says my husband spends all my money. Like, b***h, you don’t even know what you’re talking about. She’s not even in my house. She’s putting out this false narrative out there. And it’s like, she’s trying to make me her storyline.”

Now, Luis may be struggling with money problems but so is Teresa. She had gone to prison as did her ex-husband, Joe Giudice who now lives in the Bahamas. To add to that, Teresa has a balance on her debt to the federal government.

Teresa’s Balance

As of 2023, Teresa Giudice still owed $615,720.94 to the federal government. The RHONJ star’s rep said this in the Summer of 2023:

“Ms. Giudice has been aware of her tax obligations for years and makes significant timely monthly payments towards her outstanding tax liabilities and will continue to do so until those liabilities do not exist.”

As of now, everyone’s position on the show is up in the air. The reunion for Season 14 has been canceled and it looks like Bravo will hit pause to reevaluate what is next for the series. What will Teresa and Luis Ruelas do without that paycheck? Time will tell.
