‘GMA’ Michael Strahan’s Daughter, Isabella Unconscious For 19th Birthday
Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella has had it tough lately thanks to her cancer diagnosis and her chemotherapy. She has also recently said that she has started suffering from memory loss and will lose entire days from her memory thanks to her medication. She also missed out on her 19th birthday.
The good news is that she got to make up for it.
Michael Strahan’s Daughter Misses 19th Birthday
Isabella Strahan has been keeping a YouTube blog tracking her progress as she battles brain cancer. Michael Strahan’s daughter was heading off to college as a freshman when she learned about the cancer and she has been going through treatment for it ever since.
She has had to have a hole drilled into the back of her head twice now to drain fluids. This was the result of her diagnosis of medulloblastoma, and the surgery she underwent to remove a malignant brain tumor.
She has also been on some strong medications during her chemo treatments that has left her with memory impairment and this caused her to miss several days of her life lately. According to Isabella, she was unconscious on her birthday itself.
That includes her 19th birthday. On her most recent vlog, Isabella showed that her friends and family helped her make up for the missed birthday. She showed off her friend Dallas in the video as they joked around and made some cupcakes to celebrate her birthday.
Michael was with his daughter and helped them out, while joking and keeping the mood joyful. It seemed that they went all out to help her have a happy birthday, even if it was a little late.
Isabella Strahan Has Returned Home After Recent Treatments
While Isabella has struggled with memory problems thanks to the medication she is on during chemo, she seems to be improving. Isabella’s last vlog post mentioned that she is not in as much pain as she was before.
“So I feel a lot better. I’ve just been sleeping for like 18 hours, but I’m home, and Sophia comes home this week, which is nice,” she said in that last vlog. “And other than that, I’ve been really bored, not much in pain.
She then said there is one more round of treatment to go and she will be done after that in June. Isabella also said she plans to return to college this fall, so there is hope that these treatments will help make things better so she can get back to living her life once again.

I’m glad to know she is doing better and not on alot of pain. Also I’m glad she able to still have fun with family and friends during this time. My thoughts and prayers are with Isabella and Micheal and the rest of the family during this journey. We pray for you to heal and be able to return to school.
I’m so sorry Isabella has to go through this torture. She’s such a sweet girl and she’s been through so much pain already. Her Dad is so sweet to make her time going through this as painless as possible. He’s a wonderful Dad. I went through chemo and radiation for Brian cancer 8 years ago and it’s no fun for sure.
