Paris Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum, are now parents of two little ones. Their son, Phoenix was born in January 2023 via surrogate with daughter, London joining the brood in November of the same year. She kept her son a secret from her whole family, including her mother, Kathy Hilton, until he came into the world. Then, she surprised Kathy with her new grandson and it was such a beautiful shock. It was an even bigger surprise that London joined her big brother so soon after but this was what Paris had wanted for such a long time.
Now, her family was complete and she was over the moon. However, she still has some things to learn about being a parent which is normal and common. According to Us Weekly, the forty-three-year-old was swimming with her son, Phoenix. She shared this sweet moment with her fans but one thing caught their eye. It appeared that he had his life vest on backward. One follower wrote this:
“Hey momma just a tip from another puddle jumper mom, I think it’s on backwards. But I love this video, pure joy.”

Paris can be seen holding Phoenix as she jumps through the pool with her baby in her arms. Her hair was in a bun with a black headband around it and matching sunnies. As for Phoenix, he has a hat on and is beaming as he mashes the water with his arms. In response to the backward comment, Paris Hilton said this:
“Oops! Thank you! I never let him out of my arms. thought it was backwards too, I said that to the person who I bought it from & they said it was on right. But thank you so much for letting me know.🥰”
It seems that Paris is still learning how to parent as she was just called out for putting her kids in their car seats the wrong way. They were rear-facing car seats but she had them forward-facing while using a latch and a belt at the same time.
Momming Hard
Though she is still making mistakes, Paris Hilton has kindly thanked those who have corrected her and shown her the ways. She made sure to post a new snippet of the kids’ car seats in the right direction, writing:
“Thanks for the mom advice, I’m new to this. The #CutesieCrew is now ready for takeoff in the #SlivingMom van.”
It seems that she is trying her best to learn from her mistakes, rectify them, and give credit to those shaping her to be a better mother. It does take a village and she is clearly seeing that.
