Paris Hilton Over Uncle Mauricio Abusing Family Name
Paris Hilton is speaking out over her uncle, Mauricio Umansky, abusing the family name. There have long been issues between the Hiltons and the Umanskys. Now, it has moved from RHOBH to Buying Beverly Hills. Read on for more details and to see what has angered Paris.
Paris Hilton Over Uncle Mauricio Abusing Family Name
For a very long time, Paris Hilton’s mother, Kathy Hilton, and her sister, Kyle Richards, have had an up-and-down relationship. They realized that they wasted a lot of their time fighting or not talking, especially Kathy. Luckily, they had Season 11 of RHOBH to show viewers what a great dynamic they had. Then, the following season, things came crashing down and their relationship was fractured once again. Their sister, Kim Richards tried to reunite them but Kyle was unsure. More so, Kyle was hurt that she learned about Paris’ first child via Instagram. They have since reconciled but Paris is not happy with Kyle’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.
Mauricio seemingly is sharing his story about the breaking down of his relationship with brother-in-law, Rick Hilton’s relationship. More so, he is doing this on the second season of his Netflix series, Buying Beverly Hills. According to Us Weekly, he has this to say:
“I think I got kind of f–ked by Hilton and Hyland. And when I say f–ked, you know like today, I’m happy. But, there were 100 agents at Hilton and Hyland. They did $1 billion for the first time a year. I was 19.6 percent of their production.”
He then decided to ask for equity as well as to be a full partner at the firm which was denied. Of course, he knew if he exited Hilton and Hyland, this could be bad for familial relations. It was a chat he had with Kyle Richards but he proceeded with The Agency. As for his niece, Paris Hilton, she does not appreciate hearing her uncle talk poorly about her father.
“My father is a consummate gentleman and has always taken the higher road. He would never speak negatively about his family — especially in the press. Frankly, we are all sick of him using the Hilton name every chance he gets to plug his lame show. It is enough already.”

Paris Hilton has to remember that RHOBH has been on since 2010. During that time, Mauricio Umansky’s decision to exit her father’s firm was talked about. He was with Kyle Richards when he shared how he had been approached to start his own firm. So, it was well known that he had left Hilton and Hyland to do his own thing and from there, dissension ensued.
