Has Kyle Richards spoken to her niece, Paris Hilton regarding how she slammed her uncle, Mauricio Umansky? Paris was very outspoken about how she felt when Mauricio addressed his relationship with her father, Rick Hilton. So, did Kyle intervene? Read on for more details on the situation.
Has Kyle Richards Spoken To Paris Hilton Over Mauricio Slam?
Kyle Richards has spent many years walking on eggshells when it comes to her sister, Kathy Hilton. They can fall back apart in the blink of an eye and Kyle has to be incredibly careful. For years, the two did not even speak and Kathy admitted it was a waste of time. When Kathy’s daughter, Paris Hilton welcomed her first child, Phoenix, Kyle found out on social media. That broke her heart because the family had so many points when they were so close. As Kyle and her husband, Mauricio Umansky have parted ways, he is being more candid on Season 2 of his Netflix series, Buying Beverly Hills.
This includes him telling the truth as to why he left Rick Hilton’s real estate firm, Hilton and Hyland. He claimed he was doing so well that he asked for equity and to be a partner. This was rejected so he took a better opportunity and that was when The Agency was born. After learning of this, Paris Hilton responded:
“My father is a consummate gentleman and has always taken the higher road. He would never speak negatively about his family — especially in the press. Frankly we are all sick of him using the Hilton name every chance he gets to plug his lame show. It’s enough already.”
So, what does Kyle Richards have to say about all of this given it is a battle between her niece and estranged husband? According to Us Weekly, the RHOBH star was on Amazon Live and addressed the controversy. “She spoke to her cousins, and they cleared all that up. I really was just like, ‘No. Please no more.’ I can’t handle any more things.”
Kyle Thought It Was Done
By the time this drama emerged, Kyle Richards had thought all of the ick was behind her. After all, the Season 13 RHOBH reunion had been filmed and she had done her best to answer the questions. However, she did get backlash for avoiding some inquiries regarding her marriage. Then, as she noted on Amazon Live, it all resurfaced with the Mauricio/Paris backlash.
“I am just kind of tired of hearing about everything over and over again. For me, it was like, ‘Ahh the reunion is done. Thank God. I can exhale and relax a little.’ But no, not too soon Kyle. There’s more stuff coming. My family is all in the public eye, and it’s a weird thing. I’m on television. My niece is on television. My sister is on television. My family is on television. It’s a lot. What can I say?”
