As 7 Little Johnstons fans who keep up with Liz Johnston’s updates know, it wasn’t all that long ago that she updated her followers with sad news. She took to social media to say that her pup had passed on due to a “horrific incident.”
At the time, Liz Johnston did not go into detail about what happened. All 7 Little Johnstons fans knew for sure was that Liz lost her Mill-Dawg. It’s always a gut-wrenching experience to lose a furry family member, especially under horrific circumstances, as Liz described. Naturally, viewers felt for her, as well as for the pain of the loss she carried.
TLC Fans Slam Liz For Animal Abuse?
Since Mill-Dawg unfortunately lost his life under questionable circumstances, many 7 Little Johnstons fans think Liz Johnston should be blacklisted from pet ownership. Recently, one viewer brought attention to a scene from the past where Liz left her dog out in the rain all day.
In the 7 Little Johnstons scene in question, Anna Johnston and Emma Johnston ask Liz where her dog is. Liz says he is “outside” because it had been raining that day. To which Emma then says: “It’s still raining.”
So, Liz Johnston knowingly left her dog out in the rain and didn’t bring the pet back into the house, something that continues to rub 7 Little Johnstons fans the wrong way.

This type of cruelty toward animals is something that still rubs 7 Little Johnstons fans the wrong way when it comes to Liz. Some have even gone so far as to suggest that Mill-Dawg’s “horrific incident” could have been the result of negligence on Liz’s part.
Some fans are even concerned for Liz’s daughter, Leighton. Some suggest that if Liz was this way with her dog, there’s no telling what she might be doing to potentially put her young daughter in danger. The consensus among fans seems to be that Liz should not have more pets.
