Fantasia Barrino Put Her Hand Up As Judge

American Idol fans had only just heard about the I Kissed a Girl singer’s departure when Fantasia talked about taking over on the judges’ panel. Back then, she didn’t know that an urge to get creative and tour again had gripped the American Idol judge. However, when asked by Entertainment Tonight, she agreed she would be interested. 

Katy Perry’s potential replacement could be almost anyone, and names like Taylor Swift, and Jon Bon Jovi have been floating around. However, Fantasia Barrino is an old hand because 20 years ago, she won the talent show at the age of 19. Since then, she’s won awards and countless nominations for acting and singing.
