‘Dance Moms’ Abby Lee Miller Too Toxic For Reunion
Was Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller too toxic for the recent reunion where the girls gathered together to rehash their dancing days? She was an integral part of the Lifetime series so it was slightly odd that she did not appear. So, what was the exact reason Abby did not pop up? Dance Moms Abby Lee Miller Too Toxic For Reunion
Fans of Lifetime’s Dance Moms were very well aware that Abby Lee Miller was not the easiest teacher to work with. She would demean and yell at her dance students, including JoJo Siwa and Mackenzie Zeigler, making them feel like they were never good enough. Luckily, they all appeared to have come out of the experience unscathed. Some continued dancing and performing, having very successful careers. Others went on to attend university, graduating and living their best lives.
Recently, Brooke Hyland, Paige Hyland, JoJo Siwa, Chloe Lukasiak, Kendall Vertes, and Kalani Hilliker all got together for a reunion. They were able to talk about their time on the reality series and what they are up to now. Chloe shared her coming out story which is interesting as JoJo went through a similar thing. However, one noticeable person missing was Abby Lee Miller. Why was she not in attendance when she started it all? According to Radar Online, she was not wanted there by the girls who were filming after all that had gone down.

A Dance Moms insider had this to say about why Abby was not a part of the reunion:
“Cast members drew a line in the sand, refusing to share the stage with Abby Lee Miller. The scars of their past experiences with her run deep — and the mere thought of being in her presence again was too much to bear! The trauma inflicted by Abby still lingers, casting a dark shadow over any potential reconciliation.”
This does make a lot of sense and the cast did speak very freely about what they went through while on the show. If Abby had been in attendance, it may have made their transparency far harder.
Scandalous Abby
The former Dance Moms star also stirred up controversy when she was supposed to do a high school scouting event. This was to occur in Texas back in September 2023 but she then appeared on the podcast, Sofia with an F. The two were chatting about All the Right Moves, a Tom Cruise film from 1983 where Sofia inquired if Abby had seen it. They started talking about young athletes as that is the character Tom Cruise plays in the aforementioned film. That is when Abby Lee Miller said this:
“Oh, that’s my downfall. I like the high school football players. I still like them.”
That was too far for the Texas school and they could not condone what she had said, no matter the context. So, her event was canceled. It seems that she is not on the hottest streak right now.
