Big Brother 26 has released its schedule for this summer’s season. The season returns to its normal starting time after airing in the fall of 2023. The last season was moved because of the Writer’s Strike. Things are back to normal this year, and it looks like the new season will be an easier one to follow.

Here is a look at the Big Brother schedule for the summer.

Big Brother 26 Releases Summer Schedule

Big Brother 46 released its summer schedule. Things have returned to normal after the Writer’s Strike cut into the 2023-24 TV schedule. With the scripted shows delayed, networks moved their reality TV shows into more prominent spots. That included CBS and Big Brother.

CBS moved it to the fall schedule, starting it in August and pushing it through the later months of the year. However, with everything back to normal, the popular reality show is moving back to the summer. Big Brother 26 premieres on Wednesday, July 17, on CBS. There will be a back-to-back, two-night season premiere with the second episode on Thursday, July 18.

The series will also ensure that all the episodes are on at the same time each night this year instead of moving them around based on the day of the week. The episodes will all air at 9/8c on CBS.

The online live feeds are also returning, which means Paramount+ subscribers can watch the house even when the show is not on TV. The episodes from CBS will also be available for streaming on Paramount+. After the two-night premiere, the series will air three nights a week — Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Big Brother 26: What We Know

Now that we know the Big Brother 26 premiere date and when the episodes will air, here is what we know heading into the new season.

The three nights that the episodes will air are Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. The live eviction nights will take place on Thursday’s episode each week. The episodes will air at 9/8c (the Wednesday and Sunday episodes aired at 8/7c last season).

While it has not been confirmed, the average Big Brother season is 82 to 85 days. This means it will end at the start of October. If the show ends at the end of September, the show will only check in at less than 75 days. As usual, Survivor 47 will likely premiere when Big Brother 26 finishes this fall.

At the moment, there is no news on the themes, games, or any of the contestants for the upcoming Big Brother season.
