Which ‘Big Brother’ Star Almost Went On ‘The Bachelor’?
It was recently revealed that a star from Big Brother was almost on The Bachelor instead. It seems as though the competitor had two chances of reality TV but chose to go with Big Brother instead. Which alum was almost a contestant on The Bachelor instead?
Who Was It?
The star was revealed as Britney Haynes. Now, Britney did have a boyfriend at the time that the application was sent. However, Haynes’ mother did not approve of her boyfriend at the time, so she applied for The Bachelor behind her back. So, when Britney received a phone call, she thought it was Big Brother telling her she was going to be on the upcoming season, but that was not the case. It was The Bachelor leaving her a voicemail. Britney Haynes did not call them back since she was with someone at the time. According to Screen Rant, Britney quickly called her mom after receiving the voicemail.
“Mom, I have a boyfriend!“
Which her mother replied with:
“Not for long. You should go on The Bachelor.“
They do say mother knows best. Britney did not stay with the boyfriend and is currently married to Nathan Godwin. The two share three children together and seem to be happier than ever.

Britney Haynes And Big Brother
In 2010 Britney Haynes joined Big Brother‘s 12th season. Haynes was loved by viewers because of her diary room tapes. That is where you really get to know the houseguests and their true game plans. Britney was also competitive, however she only won one HOH comp. Britney fell short and placed fourth. However, she won over the hearts of fans and won America’s Favorite Houseguest. She came back as a coach for Season 14 and joined the game later on. She was also on Big Brother: The Reindeer Games. Britney surprised herself and fans when doing competitions. While she was unsure if she would be able to complete a competition, she did want to finish it so she could show her daughters you can do anything you put your mind to.

It was shocking to fans that she was almost on a different show considering her big past on Big Brother.
