Former Partner Accusing Melissa Gorga Of $10K In Theft
Melissa Gorga’s former business partner has accused the reality star of $10K in theft plus other poor work practices. Jackie Beard Robinson recently spoke out about Melissa’s shady dealings and it paints the mother of three very poorly. So, how did she allegedly get away with such thievery? Former Partner Accusing Melissa Gorga Of $10K In Theft
Melissa Gorga has dabbled in a few business ventures since she started on RHONJ in Season 3. Fans have watched her try and be a singer with her husband, Joe Gorga even building her an in-home studio. Yet, aside from her children, Melissa’s most successful venture to date has been her boutique, Envy. Not only does she sell merchandise online but she also has a few brick-and-mortar locations. This has made her immensely proud and successful but with success always comes problems. Melissa once had a business partner named Jackie Beard Robinson.
She has since written a book about their time together and then appeared on the podcast, Beyond the Velvet Rope with David Yontef. There, Jackie made some pretty heavy allegations against Melissa and her stealing from the business, according to All About The Tea. She shared that Melissa would regularly take money from the cash drawers and use the store credit card inappropriately. Then, something very pricey happened but the way Melissa allegedly handled it was less than proper, per Jackie:
“There was like $10,000 worth of damage to the clothes… It takes forever for an insurance company to reimburse you.”
Apparently, Melissa Gorga was going to get 20% of the payout but, in the end, she walked away with all of the money. Jackie continued:
“The lawyer did [put it in the account], and it’s gone. Gone. She took it all… I don’t know how that happened. I still do not know how it happened.”
After this went down, Melissa went on to accuse Jackie Beard Robinson of stealing inventory from the store. More so, it all went down on the show which was very damaging to Jackie in the long run:
“Because when she said that, you’re not gonna recover from that. She’s gonna tell her side of the story, and I’m never gonna tell my side of the story. I’m always gonna be like, people are gonna be like this lady could be a thief.”
Endgame
There was a lawsuit between Jackie Beard Robinson and Melissa Gorga. Yet, it went to arbitration and was eventually dismissed. After hearing the podcast, listeners and fans of RHONJ were not all that surprised by what Jackie was saying. At the same time, she also felt the need to share her feelings on the familial drama between Melissa and Teresa Giudice. In Jackie’s mind, she believes that Teresa will ultimately be the one to let it all go and move on.
“She seems to be one that’ll say things like, you know what, it’s not worth it. I just feel like she’s the more forgiving one.”
Whether these allegations are true or not, no one will ever know the true backstory. Of course, fans will always have their opinions and they are not favorable toward Melissa.
