RHONJ star, Melissa Gorga is breaking her silence about drugs and Andy Cohen. Several Bravolebs have stepped up since Leah McSweeney dropped her lawsuit. It has been alleged that Cohen does cocaine with housewives and then gives them a better edit. So, what does Gorga have to say? Read on for more details.
Melissa Gorga Breaks Silence About Drugs & Andy Cohen
Leah McSweeney filed a lawsuit against Bravo and in it, she alleged that Andy Cohen partied with Bravolebs. Most notably, she claimed that he did cocaine with them and then, the ones that he did this with tended to look better on camera. Of course, several faithful housewives vehemently denied this ever happening. Now, according to Page Six, Melissa Gorga is speaking out about the claims and Andy, himself. She has been on RHONJ since Season 3 and has had her own ups and downs on the show. It was unclear if she would return for this upcoming season but she stayed.
So, what does the mother of three and boutique owner have to say about this debacle? Melissa shared this:
“Throughout my 14 years of working with Andy, I have witnessed nothing but respect, kindness and support. I have never been offered any type of drug by him ever. His leadership style exemplifies authenticity. He prioritizes open communication and he’s very approachable. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn and grow under his guidance and share in his success.”
It seems that Melissa is praising Andy Cohen and what he has brought to the table. More so, she is grateful for him which is a testament to how far the Housewives franchise has grown. This is a stark contrast from what RHONY alum Leah McSweeney had to say in her extremely damaging lawsuit. Yet, Gorga was not the only housewife who has said positive things about Cohen.
RHOP star, Ashley Darby shared that she and Cohen are often in the same party circles. Never has she seen him do drugs nor offer them to Bravolebs.
“I can only speak to how Andy has been with me over these last eight years and even when I’ve seen him out and about. Around Fashion Week a couple of years ago, we were in the same club and I saw nothing of the sort. He’s just always been really professional with me and I’ve always felt like he’s treated me equally and fairly. I’ve never experienced this. It really catches me off guard.”
Endgame
With so many people coming to Andy Cohen’s defense, can this save his reputation? Melissa Gorga has never had a problem speaking her mind and it seemed effortless for her to say exactly how she felt about Andy. Tamra Judge also had nothing but kindness and supportive words for her boss. Looks like he has a strong support team who are making this whole uncomfortable situation a little more manageable.

I feel the same as Cheryl says in her comment. I met Andy Cohen at one of his meet and greet and he was nothing but gracious to everyone in attendance. it sounds like these are down on their luck and trying to get money coming in by lawsuits.
The way she acted a Ramona’s house was beyond disgusting. She threw torches in her pool running around naked. She did because it is the norm for her. She didn’t have to drink she wanted to. I feel sorry for her daughter.
