Joy-Anna Duggar Shares Gideon Fluent In New Language, Video
Counting On alum Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth is back with an exciting update for the fans. The 26-year-old has been sharing clips from some of Gideon’s homeschool sessions. Austin’s wife previously revealed that Gideon was falling a little behind when it came to comprehension and speaking. Due to this, the married couple decided to send him to a speech therapist. Counting On: How’s Joy-Anna Duggar’s Son Gideon Today?
Joy-Anna recently took to YouTube to share a vlog from their recent river adventures. The 20-minute video was filled with fun moments between Joy-Anna and Austin. However, their fun day ended quickly due to Gideon’s condition. According to the ninth Duggar child, her oldest son was struggling with breathing due to his “fussy” and “snotty” nose. The Counting On alum later shared a clip of Gideon with his nose bleeding.
Joy-Anna sent her son to a doctor and was very worried about his health. Moments later, they were told that it was only some kind of pollen allergy. Gideon’s breathing and fever had died down by the end of the vlog.
Joy-Anna Shares Gideon’s Newfound Confidence After Therapy
Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth continues to stay in touch with the fans regarding her son, Gideon. He has fully recovered and has been focusing more on his studies. In an Instagram post, the proud mother shared a clip of her son speaking in Spanish after watching a few episodes of Dora The Explorer. Many Counting On fans were impressed by Gideon’s ability to talk in Spanish. Some also mentioned that he has improved a lot since completing his speech therapy.

Aside from learning a new language, Joy-Anna also took to social media last week to share an adorable clip from Gideon’s homeschool. According to the Counting On alum, her son was so happy after finally being able to read his first book. He even squealed excitedly after his mom told him he had just read his first page. “His reaction when learning to read finally clicks,” Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth captioned.
