‘The Bachelor’ Alum Shares Pain Of Devastating Death

Bachelor Nation fans are always quick to reach out to ABC stars who have lost a dearly beloved family member. Tyler Cameron found a huge outpouring of sympathy when his mom, Andrea passed away. Now another fan-favorite is mourning as well, so more kind words are written.

Bachelor Nation Deaths Always Find Fans Reaching Out

In March last year, Clare Crawley told her many ABC fans that her pup, Elbie passed away. When followers started messaging in their regrets and sorrow on her behalf, she felt so touched that she made certain to thank everyone. That’s typical of ABC fans: quick to reach out and comfort the bereaved.

This time, the sad post about another death in the Bachelor family came from Lesley Anne Kavanagh, nee Murphy. You might remember Lesley Murphy as she dated Bachelor in Paradise star, Dean Unglert, (now Dean Bell to honor his mom who passed away.) Lesley also appeared on Sean Lowe’s season. She married Alex Kavanagh and they raise two children, Nora and Lily.

Lesley Murphy Mourns A Family Member

Mid-week, Lesley Murphy took to her Instagram and shared a reel. It was set to the music of Lana Del Rey’s Say Yes To Heaven. In the video, she showed her followers how close she was to her pup, Stella Murphy. Stella passed away on April 30, 2024.

 

The Bachelor Nation alum wrote a long caption, saying in part:

We had to put down our family dog today after finding out she has heart failure… We knew this was coming, but it doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier. She’s been in the family almost 15 years…Back in 2009, my mom came home with her one day…I’ll never forget seeing her for the first time…just a small puff of fur…She was always ecstatic to see you. I hope she left this earth as happy as she came into it, and I can’t wait to cuddle her again one day because all dogs go to heaven.
